I am a teacher, recently retired, residing in Surrey in Britain. I am now 60 years old and married with three grown up children and two young grandchildren. My name is Nancy and I have qualified as a solicitor, and I have worked for a private practice for more than a year now. I am employed by a really good business and as all new lawyers soon discover, this involves having to overcome a lot of competition to get work. The junior lawyers are paid quite a lot less than even the majority of the secretaries as the Human Resources division realize they will get scores of excellent applicants each time they go about advertising a vacant position.
